United Kingdom-based mobile technology provider O2 will be rolling out an enhanced free wireless network throughout London, ahead of the 2012 Olympic games.

The new wireless hotspot zones will cover London’s Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea boroughs, creating Europe’s largest free wireless network, according to O2.

The Wall Street Journal reports that, “contrary to the experience of almost anyone who has attended a conference anywhere and had the misery of conference wifi, that the service would be able to cope with the traffic demands.”
