Hackers Using Emails to Steal From Senior Citizens

Seniors are the number-one group of people that are being scammed, according to the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs. The group recently spoke to dozens of senior citizens about ways to protect themselves from the dangers of identity theft. The Daily Targum, a local newspaper in New Jersey, points out in this article that cyberthieves “are using emails [and] want to steal your identity, your Social Security number, credit card number, your address. They want to steal from you and all your friends, as many as possible.”
